Arrivederci, Palermo!
It was yesterday, when I didn’t realize that the times went
very fast and my internship was finally over. I’ve been living there like I was
a true citizen in Palermo. I mean, I lived like with my second family, from
different part of the Universe. I will not exaggerate anything, I’ll say what I
need to say.
I had so many things. I learned a new stuff.
I remember vividly in my memory when I applied this Student
Exchange Program. I was feeling excited, nervous, and afraid of the same time.
I was so excited because this is like what I wanted from a
long time ago, I want to be in a different part of the world, learn a lot and
give an enormously amazing memory to my life.
I was nervous. I never had this kind of opportunity before,
sometimes I felt like I’m not good enough, I’m the whole wasted, but sometimes
I felt like I’m so ready, I had my mature soul, and just need to wait to be
send to the Battle field.
I was afraid. This is not as easy as you saw, I accepted
this challenge, faced the world, but with the pounding heart in my body.
And I never thought that it would be Italy. Like oh my God,
Italia?
So, I can’t be better
for expressing those whole times. I’m the student, the exchange participant,
the intern, the volunteer, the friend, the new pieces of anybody’s part there.
The point is that I’m so happy to have this experienced. I
feel that I’m useful, helpful, I feel glad to learn Italian (&Sicilian)
language, I feel smart to know another cultures, and I feel almost complete
when I saw another part of my life here :)
They are Daniela, Anna, Clayton, Giorgia, Uday, Ayush, Anastasia, Dyan, Jo, Massimiliano, Danielle, Dora, Kath, Del, Marianna, Carlotta, Ilenia, Ana, Giovanna, Yulia, Angela, Monika.
This is some of their picture with me, they’re very lovely.
This is Daniela, she’s from Brazil. I spend a lot of my times with her. we had shopping times together, movie times, and we share a lot of things together.
And at the last night we wanted to take a picture and she wanted to wear Batik from Indonesia.
She said she really like Batik, and she will wear it in
Brazil. She’s so pretty, right?
This is Anna Primak, she’s from Moldova, studying in Romania. I
spend a lot of my times with her too. She’s so nice and really loves Honey. I
could explore so much things in the short time with her. She's Pretty Honey.
This is Giorgia Li Greci. She’s the AIESEC Local Committee
President. She’s so nice to everyone and me. Pretty and lovely.
And this is our polaroid picture together. We’re the new
best friends! (I hope you guys remember
the Godfather Movie times! :p
For the rest of the AIESECer, I’m sorry but I’m not having a
picture together (just the two of us) with you guys, but I wrote about yall
above!
I’m not going to lecturing you, but… now in your ages, if
you’re young, and wild, and free (?) take your chances, be better!
Arrivederci, Universe!
